We are a dynamic group that is excited to develop basic understanding of fluid-solids interactions at the small scale and to leverage that knowledge to develop novel subsurface engineering processes that improve recovery of Earth's resources. Our work weaves together microfluidics with fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, reservoir engineering, and geochemistry. We are a growing lab, so there are plenty of opportunities to join! If you are interested, send us an email with the following information:
Graduate students: We are looking for Ph.D. students to join! If you are a current or prospective graduate student at interested in joining our lab, send us a brief description of your background, research experiences and interests, and goals.
Postdoctoral researchers: We are looking for creative and hardworking people to join our team. Expertise in micro/nano- fluidics and fabrication, geochemistry, imaging and image analysis, and/or enhanced oil recovery is required. To apply, send us a cover letter describing your background and future research interests, a curriculum vitae, and the contact details of at least two references.
Undergraduate students: We welcome undergraduate thesis students who are curious and eager to learn! Send us an email briefly describing your background, interests, and goals.
High School students: We welcome high school students who are curious and eager to learn! Send us an email briefly describing your interests and goals.
